1. It's hard to get motivated and find the time to do this without Rob pushing me. Sorry about that.
2. The Pistons rebounded big time in game six. Should have seen it coming, this team does it's best when there's some pressure. I hate to say this because it almost burned me last year but...the Cavs do not scare me at all. There are 8 or 9 teams in the NBA that are more scary. Should be a five or six game series.
3. Tigers-Red Sox series was fun, even though the outcome wasn't ideal. Games 1/2 were not close and injuries caught up with the Tigers for the doubleheader. Oh well, it's May. 100 or so games left to the season. However, as I write this, the New York Yankees are 10 games out of first place. That could be some tough sledding for them. I know it's early, I know there are a lot of games left, but they are not catching the Red Sox. That will not happen. That means they need to win the Wild Card to make the playoffs. That could be rough as well. Good times.
4. In case you were wondering my fantasy baseball team is doing very well.
5. I'll have a real post in a day or two.

I expect Cleveland to run all over Detroit this year and take it all. Cleveland is a better team, has better players and more stars. They are destined. It doesn't matter about them going back and fourth all year in their 1st and 2nd place standings in their division. Cleveland is just better and will run all over Detroit. But enough about the Indians and Tigers.
The Pistons are tough but last year the Cavs gave them all they could handle. This year the Pistons are without any spectacular players including Wallace. The Cavs are more experienced and more hungry than they were last year. The Pistons, although have played great all year, won't beat the Cavs this year. The Cavs have a great defense which is all that the NBA playoffs seem to be about anymore. I expect the Cavs to be able to win on the road. They took two in Washington and two in New Jersey. And although the four road wins were against only the Wizards and the Nets, they were still four road wins in the NBA at playoff time. Cavs in 6.
Oh, a Cleveland fan shows up. I like the Indians chances a lot more than the Cavs chances. It's not even close. However, I really doubt the Indians pitching will keep it up for the whole season, I just don't think they're as good as they've been the first couple months. I should point out the Pistons also have four road wins in the playoffs. So take that for what it's worth.
Blake your fantasy team is horrible. You have only played one good team and you got lucky that Sheffield and Soriano were amazing that week.
A believer in the Cavs? Who is going to hit tough shots for them in crunch time against the Pistons? The Pistons have enough players, with enough experience, to hit the tough shots in the fourth quarter. Rasheed Wallace, Hamilton, Billups, Prince, and sometimes McDyess and Webber can handle pressure shots.
Compare that with Cleveland's fourth quarter playmakers-- Lebron, ..., Lebron. No one else is quite the caliber of any of the Pistons top 4.
I think it has been shown over and over again in the playoffs, that a team that has only one weapon on offense, is not going to go far. (The Lakers since Kobe decided to go solo, The Bulls with Jordan in the 80's)
First of all, my fantasy team has the second most points in our league. I am tied for the best record and the team I'm tied with has had a weaker schedule. Yeesh.
I agree with Hawk saying the Cavs just don't have the guys to hit the big shots down the stretch. Refs are more hesitant to call fouls toward the end of games and that's where LeBron heads when his team needs points. I really don't think the Cavs have a chance.
